BART halts service through Transbay Tube due to loss of communication, agency says

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — BART service through the Transbay Tube remained stopped due to a loss of communications through Sunday evening.

The stoppage began just before 5 p.m.

As of 10 p.m., services had not resumed, according to the transit agency’s alert page.

BART said A/C Transit has established a dedicated shuttle that will loop between West Oakland Station and the Salesforce terminal in San Francisco.

Bus service is also available via A/C transit bus N/L between 12th Street and the Salesforce Terminal.
