Deputies, suspect, and PG&E employee wounded during shooting in El Dorado County

FRESNO, Calif (KFSN) — A PG&E crew reported being shot at early Thursday morning at a residence, prompting a response from the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies arrived around 7:25 a.m. and found one PG&E employee injured. It’s not clear if the employee was shot or if they suffered a different injury.

While deputies were on scene, they were involved in a shooting with the suspect. Two deputies and the suspect were shot.

All three, along with the injured PG&E employee, were taken to area hospitals. Their conditions are unknown.

Authorities say the scene remains active and the investigation is ongoing.
