MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (KGO) — A 10-year-old is accused of stabbing a 7-year-old child during an after school program in Mountain View Wednesday afternoon, officials said.
It happened at Bubb Elementary School, in the school’s play area.
The suspect ran from the school and officials put Bubb Elementary on lockdown.
Officials say the victim was stabbed three times in the shoulder with a kitchen knife.
Police found home security video in the area showing the suspect.
They took the child into custody at their home.
The suspect does not attend Bubb Elementary School and was not enrolled in the after school program.
