SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) — Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang laid out his vision for the future of AI during a keynote address on day one of the tech giant’s GTC Conference.
Thousands of conference-goers packed San Jose’s SAP Center to take in Huang’s speech.
The keynote speech was streamed live on YouTube, or you can watch below.
One new advance that Huang demonstrated for the crowd was something he called “neural rendering”: a new integration of AI with 3D graphic design that he called DLSS 5.
Through a series of before-and-after videos, Huang demonstrated how this new process could take 3D graphics in many video games to an ultra-realistic level.

Huang predicted that this process of taking structured and controllable data and merging it with generative AI would be something that has applications to many other industries.
“This concept of fusing structured information and generative AI will repeat itself in one industry, after another industry, after another industry,” said Huang. “Structured data is the foundation of trustworthy AI.”
