PETALUMA, Calif. — When you walk into Petaluma’s Bubbles and Delights Café, guests are immediately welcomed by the inviting decor: colorful flowers, walls covered by green ivy and a swirly blue floor that makes you feel like you’re walking on the ocean.
“It makes me feel like spring. Very warm. It’s always lively. It’s a great place for families,” regular customer Eliot Enriquez declares.
“It’s just such a welcoming place to come into. It’s been my dream to always own a place like that,” Bubbles and Delights Café owner Debra Cargile adds.
Cargile is dedicated to making every dish as pretty as the décor complete with all the mouthwatering flavor to match.
“We have a lot of recipes from our grandmas, from my mom’s, and we brought them to the restaurant to share them with the people because they mean so much to us,” Cargile shares.

“You come here. It’s like being home,” Enriquez adds.
Cargile who has been in the food industry for close to 58 years wants to share her passion for food with others,
“I love the looks on people’s faces when they see the food, and I love it even more after they’ve had a taste of the food.” Cargile reveals. “They’re nothing but smiles.”
The menu is packed with a variety of unique and international dishes.
“We have different omelets on the menu that represent different countries from the world travels that we have done. Each omelet, we put a flag in it to represent what country it’s from,” Cargile explains.

The ‘Barcelona Omelet’ is one of the café’s signature dishes.
“It has ham in it, and then, it has the Spanish style prosciutto. It’s so unique in flavor. It’s not like any other omelet that you will get anywhere else,” Cargile declares.
If you enjoy the sweet side of breakfast, order the Belgian waffles, French toast or the Champagne pancakes.
“It’s such a unique flavor,” Cargile states.
“The batter is fluffy. The pancakes are warm and they’re sweet. It’s just a treat,” Enriquez says.

The café also boasts a hearty and unforgettable Moco Loco dish.
“You get a portion of rice, onions and mushrooms, beef patty and some brown gravy,” Cargile explains. “You can get them in Hawaii, but people who have gone to Hawaii. they come here and they say it’s the best one they’ve ever had.”
The menu offers guests a taste from almost every part of the globe.
“My dad had something from Spain. My sister has something from Hawaii. And I had something from Oaxaca,” Enriquez notes.
“Everybody walks out of here with a smile,” Cargile says with a grin.
