Miley Cyrus thanks ‘Hannah Montana’ fans with Disney+ ‘Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special’

Lainey Wilson, JoJo Siwa, Jason Earles and Cody Linley share how special Disney Channel’s “Hannah Montana” is to them.

LOS ANGELES — “It’s the best of both worlds!” Celebrating the 20th anniversary, Miley Cyrus returns to her roots with Disney+’s “Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special.”

While chatting with On The Red Carpet’s George Pennacchio, the star herself praised her loyal fans. “This special really is a gift. It’s just to thank them for their loyalty, for this career that I’ve gotten, but also the life that I have because of their support.” She also shared her excitement for what’s ahead, including releasing new music in the near future.

The “Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special” red carpet premiere at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood was a reunion for some of the cast. Cody Linley (Jake Ryan) and Jason Earles (Jackson Stewart) swung by, with the latter sporting an authentic piece of “Hannah Montana” wardrobe! “I am rocking my Rico Surf Shop t-shirt. It is an actual, authentic one from the show, from my wardrobe. It doesn’t fit anymore but I’m wearing it anyway,” Earles revealed.

Country superstar Lainey Wilson opened up about portraying Hannah Montana for birthday parties for five years. JoJo Siwa also explained buying all the “Hannah Montana” merchandise. Watch the video above to learn which items she had.
