For the first time in a month, colder-than-average highs will arrive starting Tuesday and last all week.

Showers return to the forecast starting on Tuesday also for the first time in about a month. It comes after weeks of above-average temperatures, including the Bay Area’s unprecedented heat wave that broke March records.

The best chance for rain will likely be Wednesday through Friday with .50″ to 1″ of rain possible.

We will likely see snow in the Sierra on the order of one to three feet. The best chance for snow will also be Wednesday-Friday.
