Student shoots teacher at high school near San Antonio, Comal County Sheriff’s Office says

COMAL COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — A teacher has been hospitalized after being shot by one of their students at Hill Country College Preparatory High School, near San Antonio, authorities said.

According to the Comal County Sheriff’s Office, the student, identified as a 15-year-old boy, died at the scene.

The sheriff’s office said the school was placed on lockdown, and students were transported to Bulverde Middle School to meet their parents.

Authorities said there is no ongoing threat to students, but the school will remain on lockdown as the investigation continues.
