Early morning earthquake rattles Bay Area

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — Many Bay Area residents were woken up early Thursday morning by an earthquake. The 4.9 magnitude earthquake was centered near Boulder Creek in Santa Cruz County.

ABC7 Eyewitness News viewers from across the Bay Area felt the shaking. People reportedly felt it in Richmond, Mountain View, Hayward, Pacheco, Oakland and San Francisco.

So far, there are no reports of damage or injuries.
