SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — A San Francisco Fire Department truck collided with a historic Muni streetcar along the Embarcadero on Monday afternoon, delaying service on the F Market line, officials said.
The crash happened shortly after noon at Bay Street and The Embarcadero. The intersection was cleared by 12:30 p.m., according to the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency.

Authorities said the streetcar was traveling south from Fisherman’s Wharf when the fire truck, turning to head south on the Embarcadero, struck it. The fire truck sustained damage to its windshield and bumper.
SFFD officials said they are working to return the truck to service later today. No injuries were reported.
The SFMTA said the F Market line experienced delays in the area due to what it described as a “Muni-involved collision.”
The streetcar involved in the crash was a Pacific Electric car that was built in 1948 and was originally part of the transit network that served Southern California.
