ICE involved in shooting in Stanislaus County, officials confirm

STANISLAUS COUNTY, Calif. — The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that ICE was involved in a shooting in the county on Tuesday.

No information about what led to the incident has been released, but deputies say that a suspect was taken to the hospital.

The on and off ramps on I-5 and Sperry Ave in the town of Patterson are expected to be closed the rest of the day as the investigation continues.

No deputies from the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office were involved.
