2 injured in 4-vehicle Kennedy wreck on North Side

Two people were injured in a four-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on the inbound Kennedy Expressway on the North Side.

The crash happened around 6:25 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 90 at Division Street, Illinois state police said.

Two people were taken to area hospitals with injuries, state police said.

The left three lanes were temporarily closed but reopened around 6:55 a.m., officials said.

The cause of the crash wasn’t immediately known.
