Two teenage boys were shot and wounded Saturday afternoon in the Brighton Park neighborhood.
The boys, ages 14 and 15, were near a sidewalk about 5:50 p.m. in the 3800 block of South Artesian Avenue when someone opened fire, Chicago police said.
The younger boy suffered gunshot wounds to the stomach and leg. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition, police said.
The other boy was shot in the arm and was taken to the same hospital in good condition, police said.
No arrests were reported.
