HUDSON, MASS. (WHDH) – A 29-year-old Hudson man is accused of attacking members of his family with a skateboard and killing his grandmother.
The attacks happened just after 3 p.m. Tuesday. The attacks prompted several calls to police.
Officers said by the time they arrived the suspect fled the scene.
45 minutes later, police say they received another call and eventually found the suspect, identified as Devin Dube, hiding in a van in Hudson.
Police say his grandmother, Elaine Dube, 90, was taken to a hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
He was arrested shortly after and will be arraigned Wednesday in court on several charges including murder, assault and battery causing serious bodily injury to someone over 60, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon to someone over 60, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon in connection with the death of his grandmother.
