Man critically injured in Fort Lauderdale; alleged shooter cooperates with police

A man was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a shooting in Fort Lauderdale Sunday evening, authorities said.

The shooting was reported around 7:42 p.m. in the 2300 block of Northwest 6th Street, according to Fort Lauderdale police.

Police said the alleged shooter remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
