A man was detained after a teen and a woman were wounded in a shooting in Tamarac on Wednesday night, officials said.
Broward Sheriff’s Office officials said deputies received a report of a shooting in the 7900 block of Northwest 71st Avenue around 10:10 p.m.
When deputies arrived they found a male teen and a woman who’d both been shot.
The teen was taken to a local hospital with what officials said were potentially life-threatening injuries.
The woman was treated at the scene, and a man was detained at the scene.
Officials haven’t identified any of the people involved but said the shooting remains under investigation.
