The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for a 77-year-old woman who went overboard from a cruise ship near Cuba on Thursday.
Officials said the woman went overboard off the Nieuw Statendam about 40 miles northeast of Sabana.
Crews were searching for her by sea and by air.

Records showed the Nieuw Statendam, a 975-foot Holland America ship with capacity for nearly 2,700 guests, left Fort Lauderdale’s Port Everglades on Dec. 27 and was scheduled to stop in Key West on Friday before returning to Port Everglades on Saturday.
