Dead man found lying in the street in Doral: Police

A man was pronounced dead after he was found lying in the street in Doral early Friday, according to police.

An investigation is underway after officers responded to “a report of a male lying in the roadway” in the area of 107th Avenue and 78th Street.

There, they found the man unconscious with an apparent head injury.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene.

The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office has been notified of the death. More information about the deceased was not immediately available.
