Man armed with knife barricaded inside Miramar home: Police

A man armed with a knife barricaded himself inside a Miramar home on Friday, officials said.

Miramar Police officers responded to the 7500 block of Juniper Street and were out there for hours, trying to get the man to come out.

Officers and a SWAT armored truck were at the scene.

It’s unclear what led up to the incident.
