An investigation is underway after a woman reported that she was sexually battered at Florida Memorial University, police said.
According to Miami Gardens Police, on Sunday, the victim was waiting at a bus stop when she saw an unknown man whistling at her.
The woman then left the bus stop and walked back to the campus to go to her dorm while the suspect was following her.
At one point, the suspect pinned the victim against a building door and sexually battered her, police said.
The suspect then fled the area.
He was described as a Black male who is about 6 feet tall, who wore a black hoodie and black pants.
