Video appears to show discovery of body in Deerfield Beach

An investigation is underway in Deerfield Beach on Tuesday morning after dive teams appeared to pull a body from a body of water.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, they confirmed that the investigation is underway near the intersection of Lakeside Drive and Lakeside Way. 

Video footage shows several officers at the scene and a diver swimming in a canal behind homes in the area. The diver is seen bringing a yellow tarp to the bank, which reportedly contains a body. 

Details on the investigation remain limited.
