Massive law enforcement response underway after shooting in Davie: Police

A massive police response was underway in Davie on Tuesday afternoon after a shooting, police said.

Multiple law enforcement officers were seen near the 4100 block of South University Drive outside Aveda Institute, a cosmetology school, and Know-It-All Preparatory School next door.

Davie Police confirmed officers responded to a shooting but said they weren’t looking for any subjects.

Nearby St. David Catholic School was also placed on lockdown.
