Video shows Camaro reversing into G-Wagon in Miami-Dade hit-and-run crash

Video shows a driver fleeing what authorities say was a hit-and-run crash Monday in Miami-Dade. 

The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said they responded to reports of a hit-and-run at 18701 West Oakmont Drive.

There, deputies saw a red Camaro with “a rock in the gas pedal” that had struck a Mercedes-Benz G-Class “which was parked on the driveway.”

In surveillance video posted to Only in Dade, a red Camaro can be seen reversing quickly until it collides with the Mercedes. The driver in the Camaro then runs out of the car as the Mercedes’s headlights blink on and off. 

More information on the driver of the vehicle was not immediately available.
