Juvenile accused of fatally shooting man in St. Lucie County arrested

A juvenile suspect accused of fatally shooting a man in St. Lucie County on Monday was arrested, deputies said.

According to the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrived at around 12:45 a.m. at the 3200 block of Oleander Avenue after receiving reports of a man who was shot.

Once at the scene, deputies found the victim, who was pronounced deceased.

His identity was not released.

The age of the juvenile who was arrested and the charges they face were not released.

An investigation into the shooting remains active.
