An investigation is underway in Lauderhill on Saturday after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle, police said.
According to Lauderhill Police, officers arrived at the 5400 block of Northwest 16th Street after receiving reports of an incident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
At the scene, officers found a man who was suffering from multiple injuries, and he was taken to the Broward Health Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police said the driver involved remained at the scene and has been cooperating with detectives.
The deceased was not identified.
No arrests have been made.
