A plane was involved in an incident with a vehicle on a runway at at LaGuardia Airport in New York City late Sunday, according to the New York Fire Department.
The department confirmed it responded to what it described as an incident on a runway at 11:38 p.m., it said.
The National Transportation Safety Board said it was gathering information regarding the situation. It did not provide any other details early Monday.
Information on any possible injuries was unavailable.
The airport is in the East Elmhurst section of New York City’s Queens borough.
