The City of Hialeah is hosting a Free Cuba Rally on Tuesday night to stand in solidarity with the Cuban people as the island struggles under a severe energy crisis and pressure from the Trump administration to ends its decades of communist rule.

What is the Free Cuba Rally?
The Free Cuba Rally is an event organized by the City of Hialeah and the Cuban Anti-Communist Foundation with the goal of uniting “elected officials, activists, community and faith leaders, artists, and members of the exile community for a peaceful demonstration in solidarity with the Cuban people.”
A statement from Mayor Bryan Calvo shared on Instagram reads: “Let me be clear, the Cuban people have waited long enough. This rally is a celebration of their unbreakable spirit for the undeniable regime change. Hialeah stands ready to lead, to support, and to envision a post-regime Cuba with hope and action.”
When and where is the Free Cuba Rally?
The Free Cuba Rally is on Tuesday, March 24 from 7 to 10 p.m.
It will be held at Milander Park at 4700 Palm Avenue in Hialeah.
Do I have to buy tickets to the Free Cuba Rally?
No. The event is free and open to the public.

What can I bring to the Free Cuba Rally?
Small bags, cameras and towels or blankets can be brought to Milander Park for the rally.
But, you must leave your pots and pans at home.
