Major crash blocks lanes on I-95 southbound at NW 95th Street, FHP says

A crash is blocking lanes and creating major delays on Interstate 95 southbound in Miami-Dade on Thursday morning.

The Florida Highway Patrol responded to a vehicle crash with injuries at Northwest 95th Street. At least three lanes were blocked.

It was not immediately clear who was hurt or what caused the crash.

Video of the scene showed one vehicle with a smashed front windshield and crumpled hood. Nearby, two people embraced.

Drivers are being forced off the highway.

Take Florida’s Turnpike or U.S. 441 as alternate routes.
