Ultra Music Festival is back Miami, and with it, road closures and detours.
Here’s what to know about the activity surrounding the music festival and how to get around downtown Miami.
And in case you missed it, here’s how first responders plan to keep the public safe as hundreds of thousands of fans are expected to attend.
Detours
The Miami Police Department says that from Thursday, March 26 at 9 p.m. through Monday, March 30 at 7 a.m.:
- Northbound Biscayne Boulevard will be rerouted to the southbound lanes at Southeast 1st Street
- Southbound Biscayne Boulevard will be rerouted westbound at Northeast 6th Street, with the option to continue southbound via northeast 2nd Avenue or North Miami Avenue
- There will be no southbound traffic on Biscayne Boulevard from Northeast East 6th Street.
PortMiami
Access to PortMiami remains open via Northeast 5th Street.
Closures
- Bayfront Park is closed through April 9
- Bayfront Dog Park and Playground are closed through April 4
