Miami-Dade motorman involved in traffic incident in Kendall, officials say

A Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office (MDSO) motorman was hurt after he was involved in an incident on the roadway in Kendall on Wednesday, according to video and authorities.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said two units responded to the scene of Southwest 120th Street and Southwest 127th Avenue after receiving an emergency call about a “traffic incident.”

The sheriff’s office said the motorman was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Video shows the motorman face down on the street as first responders attend to him and vehicles move around.

“We are looking into the circumstances surrounding the incident,” MDSO said.
