Police are conducting a death investigation involving the vice mayor of Coral Springs, Nancy Metayer Bowen, officials said on Wednesday.
Coral Springs Police said they are currently working on an active death investigation involving Bowen.
Officials did not give further details.
Bowen, who was elected in 2020 and again in 2024, is the first Black and Haitian American woman commissioner of Coral Springs. She was appointed in November to serve a second term as vice mayor.
