The 2026 Lexus Corporate Run returns to downtown Fort Lauderdale this Thursday evening–and with it, come road closures.
This is the 28th year of the race known as “Fort Lauderdale’s Largest Office Party,” with more 4,500 participants from 198 companies expected to participate in the three-circuit 5K.
Here’s what to know.
When and where is the race?
The race is held at Esplanade Park and starts promptly at 6:45 p.m.
Road closures
The following streets are closed through Friday, April 3, at 4 p.m.
- Southwest 2nd Street closed from Southwest 5th Avenue to Southwest 4th Avenue
The following streets are closed through Thursday, April 2, at 11 p.m.
- Southwest 2nd Street from Avenue of the Arts to Southwest 5th Avenue
- Southwest 5th Avenue from Broward Boulevard to Southwest 2nd Street. Only access from Broward Boulevard to the Arts and Science District Garage will be permitted.
The following streets are closed through Thursday, April 2, at 11 p.m.
- Southwest 4th Avenue from Broward Boulevard to Southwest 2nd Street. Only deliveries to Museum of Discovery loading docks will be permitted.
The following streets are closed on Thursday, April 2, from noon to 11 p.m.
- Southwest 2nd Street closed from Southwest 4th Avenue to South Andrews (only local traffic).
The following streets are closed on Thursday, April 2, during the race:
- 4 p.m. – 11:59 p.m. – Southwest 2nd Street from 5th Avenue to 7th Avenue
- 6 p.m. – 8:15 p.m. – 7th Avenue from 2nd Street to Davie Boulevard
- 6:50 p.m. – 7:50 p.m. – Davie Boulevard to Southwest 8th Avenue South to Southwest 14th Street East (Police will allow local traffic in this area in-between runners to allow residents in.)
- 6:50 p.m. – 8 p.m. – Southwest 14th Street North on Southwest 6th Avenue to Southwest 14th Court East past Southwest 4th Avenue loop around into Southwest 14th Street (Police will allow local traffic in this area in-between runners to allow residents in.)
- 6:50 p.m. – 8 p.m. – Southwest 14th Street West to Southwest 4th Avenue North back to 2nd Street
