If you’re looking for something free to do with the kids, Miami Riverday Festival may be right for you and your family.
The celebration takes place Saturday, April 11 at the Lummus Park Historic District. The Miami River is the backdrop of the event. The family-friendly event will feature hands-on activities, live music and historic tours that bring the Miami River to life.
The 27th annual Miami Riverday will include river boat rides, environmental education stations and a live jazz performance by Melany Kap. The event takes place from 1 to 6 p.m. The jazz performance wil take place from 1-3 p.m., followed by Latin music from 3-5 p.m.
Miami Riverday is free and open to the public.
