The wait is over for Inter Miami fans as Lionel Messi and the team are set to play their first match at Nu Stadium in Miami’s Freedom Park.
Inter Miami signed a deal with Brazilian financial services company Nu, which will have the naming rights for the team’s new stadium located in Miami Freedom Park.
Nu Stadium, a 26,700-seat facility, is scheduled to play host to its first match on April 4 and is seen as the centerpiece of the Freedom Park entertainment district that includes retail, dining, office spaces and hotel rooms.
Inter Miami will face off against Austin at 7:30 p.m.
