Bomb threat investigation underway at Dolphin Mall, police say

An investigation is underway at Dolphin Mall on Sunday after a bomb threat was reported, police said.

According to Sweetwater Police, after receiving the bomb threat, safety measures were implemented, and a search of the mall is currently being conducted.

Police said there will be a strong and visible presence in the area until the all-clear is given.

This reported incident comes one day after a bomb threat was reported at Dadeland Mall.

During that investigation, authorities gave the all-clear.

Sweetwater Police said that over the past several days, several organizations have received bomb threats.

Zoo Miami in March received bomb threats daily, but those threats were unfounded.
