Authorities are searching for a Florida property manager who is accused of embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from homeowners associations to fund lavish vacations, plastic surgery and other personal expenses, officials said.
Alexandra Delacaridad Gonzalez is a bookkeeper who’d been employed as a property manager, Martin County Sheriff’s Office officials said Monday.

Gonzalez is accused of writing checks to herself from HOA accounts that she managed and concealing the thefts by creating fictitious invoices and false ledger entries, the sheriff’s office said.
She also allegedly forged the signatures of authorized account holders.
The thefts took place over an extended period of time and involve at least two victims, the Whitemarsh Reserve Homeowners Association and The Dunes of Hutchinson Island, authorities said.
Investigators said they found records that showed the stolen funds were used for personal expenses, including shopping, plastic surgery, and vacations.
Gonzalez has warrants for two counts of fraud exceeding $50,000, two counts of grand theft, 61 counts of uttering false instruments and 59 counts of embezzlement, the sheriff’s office said.
Her bond has already been set at $1,350,000 but authorities are still searching for her.
Authorities believe Gonzalez may be in the Miramar or Vero Beach areas.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.
