Death investigation underway at Fort Lauderdale condo building

A death investigation was underway at a condo building in Fort Lauderdale on Thursday.

Aerial footage from Chopper 6 showed multiple police officers at the Coral Ridge Towers East building at 3300 Northeast 36th Street.

The footage showed what appeared to be a body covered in tarps next to the building, with the area closed off by yellow police tape.

No other details were immediately known.
