5 hospitalized in ‘hazardous situation’ at Homestead Air Reserve Base, MDFR says

Five people had to be rushed to the hospital after a “hazardous situation” in the area of the Homestead Air Reserve Base, according to authorities.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said it was responding to an incident in the 29000 block and Coral Sea Boulevard, which corresponds to the base.

Officials said there are a total of five patients, and all “will be transported by ground to a local area hospital.”
