Man hospitalized after nearly drowning in Hollywood, Ocean Rescue says

A man was taken to the hospital after he nearly drowned at a beach in Hollywood on Sunday, officials said

According to Hollywood Ocean Rescue, at around 1:50 p.m., lifeguards arrived at the beach in the area of Charleston Street after the man was pulled from the water, and CPR was underway.

After performing life-saving measures, the man regained a pulse, and he was put on a rescue truck and he was taken to the hospital for treatment.
