One person was killed, and another was injured following a shooting in the Adams-Normandie neighborhood of South Los Angeles, police said Sunday.
The shooting was reported in a residential area on Hobart Boulevard near 22nd Street at around 8:15 p.m. Sunday as a shooting victim called 911 and requested emergency services.
One person died from gunshot wounds, the LAPD confirmed. Another person was injured and taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
The victims were not immediately identified.
The cause of the shooting was under investigation.
