LAPD searching for pursuit suspect after shooting in San Fernando Valley

Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department are searching for a man who they say was involved in a shooting and a short pursuit in the Tarzana area early Tuesday. 

LAPD has set up a perimeter near Calvert Street and are going door to door checking if residents have heard or seen anything.

The pursuit ensued after a shooting was reported near Corbin Avenue and Ingomar Street.

One of the victims in what is believed to be a car to car shooting, transported themselves to the hospital.

The pursuit that followed the shooting began shortly after 5 a.m. and only lasted a few minutes before coming to an end in the 91000 block of Calvert Street in Tarzana.
