A Perris man was arrested last month after authorities learned of child molestation and sexual assault allegations against him, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said Thursday.
Napoleon Cerda, 57, is accused of molesting and sexually assaulting his two adopted or foster children for about a decade, the sheriff’s department said.
Cerda was arrested on Feb. 27 and booked into the Coys Byrd Detention Center for multiple counts of lewd acts with a child. It was not immediately clear whether Cerda posted bail.
As the investigation continues into the alleged crime, investigators believe there may be additional victims and encouraged anyone with information to come forward.
