The United States men’s soccer team unveiled its look for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Monday on “TODAY,” the team’s bold new jerseys were shown off for the first time ahead of this summer’s tournament in North America.

The home kit features the iconic red and white stripes of the American flag. It’s designed to look like the flag is waving in the wind, rather than just horizontal stripes that we’ve seen on past jerseys.
Although the USMNT won’t technically play any road games with all of its group stage matches scheduled in the U.S., the team still showed off its traditional blue away kit that will be worn. The jerseys are navy blue with stars scattered in a different shade.
“A national team jersey represents the pride of wearing the crest, not just for players on the field, but also for the fans who support them every step of the way,” said Dave Wright, Chief Commercial Officer of U.S. Soccer. “With the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup coming to the United States, we’re excited to see players across all 27 of our National Teams and supporters across the country wearing this kit as we build toward an incredible moment for the game.”
The U.S. is in Group D for the World Cup along with Paraguay, Australia and the UEFA Playoff C Winner (Slovakia, Kosovo, Turkey or Romania). The final team will be determined on March 31.
The USMNT first plays Paraguay in Los Angeles on June 12, followed by a game against Australia a week later on June 19 in Seattle. The group stage wraps up June 25 when the USMNT plays the UEFA Playoff C winner in Los Angeles.
