Police are investigating a stabbing that left multiple people injured at a downtown Los Angeles business Sunday evening, authorities said.
Officers responded around 5:15 p.m. to the 500 block of West 7th Street, near the intersection of 7th and Olive streets, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Authorities said a woman armed with a knife left the business after the stabbing.
At least one victim was initially reported, and officials said the suspect may have also stabbed herself before leaving the location. Ambulances were requested to respond to the scene, LAPD said.
The Los Angeles Fire Department also responded and reported patients in two separate locations, according to authorities.
Fire officials said there were six total patients. Five people had minor injuries and were in fair condition, while one person suffered more serious injuries.
Authorities did not immediately provide additional details about the incident.
