Game day at Dodger Stadium can get expensive, but there are some simple ways to cut costs.
One way you can save money is by bringing food with you to the stadium, but there are other cheap and smart ways to enjoy the boys in blue.
Inside the Westlake Food 4 Less, content creator Zay Jackson gave us some tips to find a delicious game-day meal for a family of four under 25 dollars to bring into Dodger Stadium.
For the main part of the meal, Jackson said she recommends some free cut sandwiches.
At Food 4 Less, a pack of these comes out to about $9, that’s less than half of our budget.
You can add some fruit mints for only $3.99 and a whole assortment of cookies.
And of course, you always need a little crunch. Add some cheddar and sour cream chips and you’re at $18.
At a time when things are already getting expensive, people are already adjusting their budget. So not having to stress about taking away from that family budget can help the family enjoy the experience of the game.
And lastly, adding some roasted peanuts for $2.49 because it’s not a Dodgers game without some peanuts.
With all this, the final total comes out to $20.47.
It’s important to note that food is permitted from outside the stadium but it must be in a clear bag, no larger than 12 inches by 12 inches by 6 inches and not in glass bottles, cans, coolers, glass containers or thermoses.
Non-alcoholic beverages can be brought in as well, but they need to be in factory sealed plastic bottles of one liter or less.
You can also bring in an empty refillable water bottle to fill at the stadium.
Now you’re ready to go to the ballpark.
