1 killed in San Clemente stolen U-Haul truck chase crash

One person was killed Monday morning in a crash with a stolen U-Haul truck at the end of a pursuit in San Clemente.

The chase began just before 8 a.m. after deputies attempted a traffic stop on the stolen moving company truck. The driver did not stop, leading to a brief chase that ended in a crash with another vehicle near Ola Vista and Granada in San Clemente.
