Grammy-winning artist Lupe Fiasco to headline Grand Prix of Long Beach concert

Plans are revving up for the 2026 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach next month: Grammy Award-winning hip-hop artist Lupe Fiasco will headline a concert at the three-day racing festival.

According to event organizers, Fiasco — known for hits like “Kick, Push,” “Battle Scars,” and “The Show Goes On” — will perform the Friday Concert presented by Acura at 6:30 p.m. on April 17, the first day of the fest.

Fans can race to catch the show on the stage outside the Long Beach Terrace Theater, “at the heart of the Acura Grand Prix’s festive atmosphere.” The concert is free with Grand Prix of Long Beach admission; general admission on April 17 costs $58.

“I’ve always been a fan of racing and car culture, so I’m happy to be a part of the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach,” Fiasco said in a press release.

Organizers said the artist’s performance will be a high-energy way for fans to finish a day of high-thrills racing.

2026 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach entertainment lineup

The 2026 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach will take place on April 17-April 19 along the streets of downtown Long Beach and areas surrounding the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center at 300 E. Ocean Blvd.

The festival is described as “world-class racing meets live music, great food, family fun and the unmatched energy of the Long Beach waterfront.”

The weekend’s entertainment lineup includes:

• AAA Travel Lifestyle Expo: Check out more than 100 displays featuring the latest in automotive, home, rec, travel, and entertainment products and services at the Long Beach Convention Center. Fans can also test out racing simulators and peruse Green Technology exhibits featuring hybrid and electric cars.
• Family Fun Zone: Find this kid-friendly area featuring rock climbing walls, carnival-style rides, and video games, in the Long Beach Arena section of the AAA Travel Lifestyle Expo. Kids ages 3-6 can also race their own “Lil’ Lightning” race car.
• Korbel Welcome Plaza: Located just outside the expo, fans can take a break at this spot featuring seating, live music, and more.
• Mornings CARnival: On April 19, outside Turn 9, fans can head to the paddock for this cool car show.
• Food: The racing fest will feature food trucks lined up around its 1.97-mile circuit, plus the Food Truck Experience behind Grandstand 31.
• Driver autograph sessions: Fans will have opportunities to meet their favorite race car drivers and snap photos throughout the weekend.

Tickets to the 2026 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach are still available starting at $58. Kids ages 12 and under get in free with a ticketed adult but need a Junior ticket to sit in the grandstands.
