A driver wanted in connection with a domestic violence case was taken into custody Tuesday after a chase in and around downtown Los Angeles.
Officers were in pursuit, but later entered tracking mode as the driver traveled on streets and freeways. The driver at times traveled the wrong way on streets in downtown Los Angeles and surrounding neighborhoods.
It was not immediately clear where the chase started.
The driver stopped on the side of a street north of downtown LA and got out of the car, but re-entered the car and drove away. He also briefly stopped at a gas station.
He eventually stopped near Broadway and Avenue 22 and was taken into police custody.
