The season ticket holder of five decades still uses a flip phone. Alex Rozier reports for the NBC4 News at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2026.
Dodgers giveaways during this homestand
LA Dodgers fans will walk away from the ballpark with lots of freebies this season, including a few stadium-wide giveaways during this April homestand:
- Shohei Ohtani “Greatest Game” Bobblehead, Part 1 | April 10 | Dodgers vs. Rangers | The man, the myth, the legend knows a thing of two about perfecting the greatest game.
- Hello Kitty Hoodie | April 13 | Dodgers vs. Mets | This gray hooded sweatshirt features the iconic Sanrio character dressed in a Dodgers jersey (yes, it’s as adorable as it sounds). The front of the sweatshirt has the Dodgers logo and Hello Kitty swinging a bat, while the back shows Hello Kitty sporting a blue foam finger.
- Jackie Robinson Jersey | April 15 | Dodgers vs. Mets | A fitting freebie for the MLB’s annual Jackie Robinson Day — a No. 42 jersey honoring the Brooklyn Dodgers alum with deep LA roots who broke barriers and forever changed the game.
Stadium-wide giveaways are available for the first 40,000 ticketed fans, while supplies last. Check out our full guide to every 2026 promo and giveaway at Dodger Stadium this season.
The party hasn’t just been going on inside Dodger Stadium, fans have been living it up on opening day across Los Angeles. Keenan Willard reports for NBC4 at 9 p.m. on March 26, 2026.
Homestand theme nights and special event ticket packages
There are 19 theme nights this season at Dodger Stadium.
A special ticket is required for these giveaways; book through the 2026 Special Event Ticket Packages calendar to snag the swag at these themed games, including these two during this April homestand:
- Teacher Appreciation Night | April 11 | Dodgers vs. Rangers | Celebrate teachers with a gray and blue LA sweatshirt featuring the World Series Champions emblem on the sleeve.
- Healthcare Appreciation Night | April 14 | Dodgers vs. Mets | Tip your hat to healthcare workers and get a blue zippered jacket with the World Series Champions emblem.
Kids run the bases at Dodger Stadium
On select Sunday afternoon games this season — including Sunday, April 12 — the stadium will host Kids Run the Bases, an opportunity for young baseball fans ages 5-14 to run the bases after the game.
Here’s how it works: Fans head to Centerfield after the game and line up outside the Centerfield entry gates. After entering through the gates, fans will be led onto the warning track and down to first base. After completing the bases, fans will exit through the Left Field Concourse.
Parents, keep in mind that Kids Runs the Bases will also take place after these Sunday games this season:
- April 26 | Dodgers vs. Cubs
- May 10 | Dodgers vs. Braves
- May 31 | Dodgers vs. Phillies
- June 7 | Dodgers vs. Angels
- June 21 | Dodgers vs. Orioles
- July 12 | Dodgers vs. Diamondbacks
- Aug. 16 | Dodgers vs. Brewers
- Aug. 23 | Dodgers vs. Pirates
- Sept. 20 | Dodgers vs. Giants

Dodgers 2026 standings, so far
These upcoming homestand games are among 162 regular-season games for the back-to-back World Series champs. By Wednesday afternoon, the Dodgers will have played 12 games so far this season.
As of April 7, the team was first place in the National League West standings with 9 wins and 2 losses (4-2 at home, 5-0 away). The MLB ranked the Dodgers No. 1 in its first Power Rankings of the 2026 season, too.
This season, the Dodgers will aim for one of the most difficult tasks in team sports — the rare three-peat.
And, as the team said at the beginning of the 2026 season, they’re not afraid to be best, even if they’re considered the “bad guys” of baseball.
Play ball.
