A 75-year-old man was beaten after encountering two intruders Saturday night inside a Hollywood Hills home.
Two men smashed through a side glass window of the home at about 9:30 p.m. in the 7100 block of Macapa Drive. When the residents arrived home, the intruders were still in the house.
The victim was punched several times as the men left the house. Details about the man’s condition were not immediately available, but the LAPD tells NBC4 Investigates that he was not hospitalized.
The men, dressed in black clothes and gloves, left in a silver sedan. Details descriptions of the robbers were not immediately available.
The men left with about $150,000 in jewelry, the LAPD said.
No arrests were reported early Sunday.
